Introduction

rise up and live out the true meaning of its creed: “we hold these truths to be
self-evident, that all men are created equal” Martin Luther King Jr.

Today we have come to debate a very
controversial issue, affirmative action. This house of parliament believes in
the use of affirmative action in the process of college admissions

After reading several article on the issue of
affirmative action, and as a child of history, I feel that I am qualify to
debate this issue.
D.
Define affirmative action. Social and economic
stratification needs to be address. Changes negative presentation of school,
compensate discrimination, racial and cultural diversity in the classroom,
provides money for public school.

Define affirmative action

Affirmative
action is using a method to differentiate people groups in order to provide
each individual with an equal opportunity and entitlement to higher education.

Social and Economic stratification needs to be

Two students, different high school, but same
qualification. Which one is better for the community? How do you decide which
one is better for the community or society itself?

students from low-income and lower-middle-income families that finances won't
keep them from reaching their goals and realizing their potential if they are
admitted to the University of Washington”.
